Sometimes life is messy!

Adeye over at No Greater Joy Mom had a wonderful post today about letting go of perfection in parenting. A lesson I have also learned over the years. Below is one of my most favorite pictures of my then newly 3 year old daughter on Christmas day. The sheer delight she got from crumbling the packaging and the feel of it raining down on her after each handful was truly worth all the clean up it involved. I cherish that day and am so glad the mommy of clean and order didn't step in and stop this time I now treasure.
